DADT's Repealed
September 20, 2011 marks the end of an almost two-decade struggle for our nation, a struggle that is meant to show that sexual orientation is not a determinant of how well one does in one's occupation.
The above video shows a touching phone conversation between a son and father that really encapsulates the kind of love that God shows us. We are all sinners, but God as our Father and Creator loves us for who we are, even though sometimes what we choose to do (or not do) tells God that we do not love Him and His plan for creation.
Moments like today make me proud that my country is taking a step in the right direction. In my opinion, the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is possibly the lone positive accomplishment of the Obama Administration.
